Bais
Yaakov High School, located at 3333 W. Peterson Avenue in Chicago, Illinois,
was established in September 1991 by a group of dedicated parents with
the goal of providing their daughters with a strong traditional Jewish
education and intensive general education. Recognized by the Illinois
State Board of Education since 1995, Bais Yaakov High School is committed
to academic excellence both in Judaic and general studies and takes pride
in the outstanding caliber of its professional faculty.
Enrollment has increased
more than tenfold since our inception in 1991. Our students are attracted
from across the United States as well as from Europe and the United States.
We offer partial and
even full scholarships to any worthy student whose family cannot afford
tuition.
Our students graduate
with the information and skills necessary to succeed in today's society.
Nearly one hundred percent of our graduates pursue post-secondary education
at superior institutions of higher learning in Israel and the United States.
They are committed to becoming contributing members and potential leaders
in their communities who will take an active role in the furtherance of
their Jewish heritage.
